How We Review Stories
Ctrl + S is committed to sharing student stories that are respectful, and appropriate for the community. All submitted stories are reviewed before they are published on the website.
Stories are checked for clarity, relevance, respectful language, and basic accuracy. Content that contains harmful, offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material may be rejected. Personal information that could identify or put someone at risk may also be removed.
Minor corrections, such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting, may be made to improve readability while keeping the original meaning and voice of the story. Larger changes will only be made when necessary to meet the site’s editorial standards.
Stories that do not follow these guidelines may be returned for revision or may not be published. Ctrl + S aims to protect the authenticity of student experiences while maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for everyone.
